The Superintendent will make assignments and transfers of support staff members for the efficient operation of the schools. Such transfers and assignments may be either permanent or temporary.

The requests and preferences of employees will be taken into consideration in making assignments and transfers; however, the prevailing interests of students and the District will be given priority.

Within an individual school, a Principal may assign support staff members to tasks appropriate to their positions and qualifications.

Care will be exercised by the administration to see that all schools are equitably staffed with support staff personnel.
